Our vision is community Partnerships, pathways and opportunities for greater independence. KAPCSN is very dedicated to reaching out to children and adults with Special Needs in the Kingman area.
To us, each person is important and worthy of having opportunities to prove to the world who they are and what they can really do. Everyone has skills, talents and knowledge to offer our community.
We provide technical assistance to working groups within our community.
We assist with community development as it relates to people with Special Needs
We provide advocacy for families with children with Special Needs in our schools and in the community as needed.
We help coordinate community needs/resource assessment activities.
We promote community change, to help enrich and enhance the quality of life for people with Special Needs in our community.
We work with professionals and parents regarding policies and procedures that have direct impact on families of/and individuals with Special Needs.
We are working on becoming a self sustained community team.
